On one of my Macs of course
Aloha everyone,

I downloaded a free app named Speed Test and ran it a few times to see just how good a 3G signal I get here in Honolulu. I've attached two screenshots, one each for 3G and WiFi. I also noticed that results were all over the place, but these are the "best" results I observed thus far.

Aloha fireshot91,

I inadvertently typed the name incorrectly - it should be Speedtest (all one word). It's in the free apps section on iTunes. I just finished syncing my iPhone and was able to verify that Speedtest is still there, as of about 20 minutes ago.

Aloha Cynicalone,

As I mentioned in my first post, I had results literally all over the place, such as 3G almost twice as fast as WiFi, and WiFi upload better than download etc...

I was curious to see how other places fare to Honolulu - we're pretty much solidly covered with 3G, at least according to AT&T's maps.
