I've owned the S0, S3, and S4... but all in SBSS. I've never had a significant mark if any on the sapphire screens and only micro scratches only visible in certain light on the casing. I've all but decided to get the S6 when it comes out in plain jane GPS only space gray aluminum to save some money since I'm fairly certain I'll also get the S7 next year (new look?) and I want to know how I feel about scuffs by actually getting one... I know I'll get marks but I'm curious how the watches look after time and are scratches at all visible when the screen is on? Maybe I can ask if you can share some "well loved" pictures of your 1+ year old watches? Most pictures on here are of brand new watches when they are first worn so perhaps this can help some trying to envision what the materials look like over time.

Thanks!

Hope these suffice! I'm not too good at up close photos that show lots of detail, but I tried my best. This is my Series 3 in Space Grey Aluminium after almost a year of ownership. Honestly, the only scratches / scuffs I can see is the small one by where you insert the band. The screen has held up really well too.

Honestly, mine looks brand new. I am sure that there are some micro abrasions in the screen that you could see under direct light if you look up close but there are zero marks that I see anywhere on it. Same thing for my series 2 and series 3’s before the 5.

I owned the aluminum S2 until the S5 came out and loved it except for the scratches on the screen. The screen scratches were more of an issue than the body/case scuffs and scratches, of which there were many. The S2 sold me as a device, so when the S5 came out I ponied up for the stainless, primarily because it has the sapphire glass instead of the iPhone/Gorilla Glass on the aluminum versions. The first scratch you get on the non-Sapphire glass on the aluminum and you will regret not getting the stainless body again. Just my thoughts.

I have two series 4 aluminum and a series 4 space gray stainless. All three look brand new. I bought them a year ago in April. The only problem I have os that I have never washed the bands in the washer

Like new, except smudges from sweat.

Space Gray aluminum S4 here. 14 months old/323 running workouts. Looks like new.
