Just to warn y'all, I'm a 30 year old guy, and it will be mostly me and my 12 year old stepson playing. He isn't on MR or anything. So if and when online games with chat come out, don't go blindly inviting me to a chat.

To Mac'Mo: A Wii code is a serial number for a Wii console. You can enter someone else's code into your Wii's Address Book and then play online-enabled games with them. (There aren't any of them now, but the DS has a similar system, and you can use it to play various DS games online with your buddies.)

And a 'Mii' is a caricature of yourself that you create on your Wii that some games (so far, apparently only the bundled Wii Sports,) can use in the game. The cool thing is that your Mii can be stored in your remote, so if you bring your remote to a friend's house to use on their Wii, your settings come with it. And you can have it show a 'parade' of all your friend's Miis.

Oh, and I'm in the process of adding everyone who has been added to the top level post. So hopefully I'll have everyone added by Monday.

I've been pouring over the list and have roughly 30 entered so far in my Wii. Haven't had many from here go black yet, but I should have most of the list completed by the weekend. I will probably skip any who registered after Nov 2006 and have less than 20 posts since a line needs to be drawn somewhere since I don't know anyone here personally and need some room for actually real life friends.

I'll probably see who goes black in a month and then delete those who have not deemed me worthy of Wii code entry. I hold no ill will towards any who don't enter my code since as this list grows lines have to be drawn somewhere due to what appears to be a limit of 100 codes on the Wii for the moment.

I figured I'd give anyone who was a member before this list the benefit of the doubt since I spent time lurking here as well...

Yeah I need to do some corrections on mine too and make sure everyones added. Why couldnt they have simplt made the friend request system similar to the 360, makes it so much quicker.

yeah, I'm slowly working through adding you all to my list, too. I've on page 5 (Wii address book page 5, not this thread page 5.) If you don't turn black within a week, I'll probably delete you. So, on people who have been added to the first post, I'm up to 000111one111000. (I've got a few personal friends, too.) So including the first post, and atszyman's most recent post, there are 60 people. At 5 people per page, 20 pages max on the Wii address book, there's room for a good 40 more in each other's address books. (Obviously, some of us have 'real-life' friends to add, too.)

I like how Nintendo lets you link your my.nintendo.com account to your Wii, but I just wish they let you add friends from the my.nintendo.com website, rather than just through the Wii itself. (It would also be nice to be able to use My Nintendo user names, rather than just Wii codes.)

It might not be a bad idea to list your Mii(s) Names as well as your Wii number. From the few I've seen from friends' systems it's a bit tough to determine a Mii's source on the parade screen...

A bonus question that I have not been able to find an answer for:

Can a Mii copied from my parade then mingle with anyone in my friend's list?
or rephrased:
Can Miis not created on my Wii (thus I cannot edit them) mingle with everyone on my friends list?

Scenario:
A coworker creates a Mii that I copy to my plaza from the parade, can that Mii now show up on any of your systems?

I have been unable to figure out if this is possible...
