It's sorted now Ed . :) Unlike PS3 & 360 friendslist, its seems to take a few minutes.


Other have now appeared too so I'll edit my above post :)
 
to everybody on where i'm still grey on their list: i'm going through the thread again on week end .. i simply didn't have much time the last 2 weeks (damn exams)
 
I am completely caught up on this list with the two exceptions of XtraMedium and Ringo whose codes appear to be invalid. So anyone who adds me now should have me go live shortly thereafter.

Edit:
I'm also starting the countdown now. In 4 weeks, anyone who has not gone live is going to get removed from the address book. If you get around to adding me sometime after the 4 week deadline (After Valentine's Day), PM me and I'll add you back to the book.
 
Alright. Went through and added the few people I had missed. So I should now have everyone listed in the first post as of now, in atszyman's post, and Nicolasdec.

Oddly, though, even people that have been there for weeks are still gray, including my namesake Ed H. :-( Only MacRumorsUser is live, (one of the ones I missed, and just added. Went live within moments.)

And for a description: my Mii is a dark haired, goateed guy in green named 'Ed'.

I think your Mii is my Mii's twin.... the description is eerily familiar.... even down to shirt color choice...

BTW, I edited my list to add Nicolasdec to keep things as simple as possible. I also updated the status of XtraMedium and Ringo (both are still invalid as of last night)

(I'm curious, I thought when you set your Miis to mingle you didn't HAVE to specifically share them...)

I'll check my list. I did pruning a while ago (while drunk) so i think i may have pruned a bit much :D

You don't. When mingle is set the Miis will eventually show up in other registered Wiis Mii parades. Sending them directly will put them straight into your recipient's plaza.

Mine should end up in your parade soon.

TBH, i dont see what eral use someone else's mii is.. apart from looking at them in the Mii section..

It's nice to put a pseudo-face with the names, and it fills out the baseball team if you don't have time or ideas to create 9 custom Miis...

Other than that, no real benefit at the moment.

Also added you to my list.

Well, if you compare my wonderful MR avatar (or the better, but older, profile pic,) you'll see that I do look remarkably like my Mii. (I tried to get it as close as possible, considering the cartoony nature of Miis.)
 
I love the Mii's. They've provided us with many a laugh. I LOLed at Diedre Rashid (whoever made that!) when that turned up on my Wii one morning. I find they add a personal touch, a more human version of the Xbox Live profile thingy. Give it an actual human appearece to make it more accessible etc.
I just wish they were as functionable, different Mii's having different save files etc. :eek:

That was me. I sent you a shed load ;) :D

Didnt have space to type the full name, but I knew you would know who it was :D

By the way, when you just add your pic to the message it doesnt send the wii. You have to do that independantly inside mii plaza.

I've added several UK players on this thread, but MRU is the only person to add me back so far. It was nice to receive a Steve Jobs Mii!

I've got a bit of an answer to my mingling question from earlier....

One of my college friend's has created a bunch of Miis on his system that show up in my Mii parade have showed up on one of my co-worker's systems. However he does not recall seeing any from my Mii plaza...so I'm unsure of how it all works yet but there is a definite path for Miis to travel further than I anticipated.

All that being said, I am a gateway with all of you in my system. Tonight I'm going to change my Mii's name to Tony tonight since 99.9% of the people who know me offline know that as my name. So dark haired, goatee, mustache, green shirt, named Tony... That's me... after seeing the parade and numbers of Miis floating through I'm comfortable with the level of anonymity in the Mii parade, I've usually been pretty wary of using my actual name with online applications.

For any I've directly sent to I will re-send which should update the Mii in your plaza... if anyone else wants a direct sent Mii, send a Wii message to me.
