iPod touch Posted from Touch!

Hah, beat you (and anyone posting with an iphone).
I'm coming at you from a 500 mhz, 256 mb ram, Windows 98 emachine.
And unlike all of you touch people, I've got NO LCD screen to mess with. I can look at my beautiful moniter from any angle, which is good, because its pretty darn big. I don't even have to worry about itunes, because it won't install, and there ain't no hiss coming from the built in speakers. The operating system is so good that Microsoft no longer feels the need to support it, and I don't have to feel bad that the new ipod touch holds only 16 gb, because I can't even fit that much on my computer hard drive, although I am reassured that it is always working by a whirring sound from beneath the desk.
Most importantly, I have a feature that is so beyond the ipod touch no one has even suggested that not having it in the current edition is posible or a downside:
I"VE GOT A FLOPPY DRIVE.
(it's so wonderful, I may never want my laptop to come back from the repair shop)

Well, In my case( and those with a touch) it won't cost us a bomb to run...
Nor am I a slave to AT&T!
I haven't got my IPod Touch yet. I'd really like a Touch and I hope it comes soon because I've sold my old IPod, but all these problems with the Touch make me think I might be better off waiting to see what the UK IPhone looks like rather than weighing straight in with a potentially defective Touch.

Oh, there's a certain thrill in digging up the old, don't you think?
Also, reading people from last year boasting about having a touch, and realising how little you care by now, puts the whole iPhone 3G shebang into context a bit, right?
