I don't know the 100 percent exact number, but two hours ago I counted 17 (which included some empty seats)

Anyone who is in line right now is absolutely insane, needs to get a life, and could have used the time that they are standing in line to work and pay for an iPhone.

I just walked by the 5th ave store over lunch. There are indeed about 15 people waiting and at least that many gawkers/TV folks. I'm going to be in that line soon!

We spoke on an Apple Store guy who suggested he knew how many they were getting but wouldn't say. He was being really coy and said that those in line right now would "probably get a phone."
