Right, I know the MacBook Late 2009 Unibody has been out for almost 5 yrs now, but i was wondering whether Apple would still replace the rubber bottom (due to the fault with it eventually peeling off) for free, despite my machine being out of warranty for a LONG time.
I was also wondering whether they would repair cracks in the plastic around the hinges of the lid (apparently a common problem) for free, or whether that wasn't recognised as a design fault (like the rubber bottom).
The cracks have been there for a while, but have recently gotten larger.
EDIT: Have successfully ordered free rubber bottom replacement (service wasn't working earlier)
