Potential warranty issues

Given all the hype around the release of the new iMacs and the banter around manufacture and delivery problems experienced by Apple, should I take any comfort in the repetition of Apple in delivering a quality product or should I just wait for a little while before buying. I’m looking to buy a BTO 27” and max it out.

The way I see it, if there are issues in the first batch, its covered by warranty and apple are good with that.
