why doesn't apple put the power 4 into their xservers? price? heat? i mean those machines would kick the opterons butt. For some reason i don't like AMD, and i love intel. But i also like Apple, and IBM. So i wouldn't mind seeing AMD go away, and force intel and IBM to compete. But i'm getting off topic. What are the chances of us seeing a power4/5 system using OSX? Why must we use a stripped down version of it (ppc970). However, if I am wrong that the ppc970 is a stripped down version of the power4, then tell me... but i think it is.
