Ok, so I'm just curious, I noticed some one else was saying they were using their older power supply on their MBP cause they liked the straight magnetic connection over the L-shaped one.

So, I have an older 2007 Macbook and a 2010 13" MBP. So would the one from my 2007 macbook be compatible? I know the magnetic tip would fit but I don't know if it supplies the same amount of power.

If it charges, it works. The wattage of the MagSafe isn't that important. If it's lower than what your MBP should have, then it simply means that it charges slower or if you're doing something intensive, it may run out of battery because it draws more power than the MagSafe can offer thus it would use battery as well (possible with gaming for instance). If it's more powerful than your MBP needs, then it would simply charges faster or provides the amount of power your MBP needs.
