Hi guys.

I've got a Power Mac, display, speaker set, and two external hard drives. I also have a 6-port power board, surge protected, etc, but with all this plugged in, there's always one spare unused plug hole. Since the power board sits under my desk, which can get very dusty, I'm worried about dust being able to get into the unused plug hole and cause a fire or something.

Am I being paranoid here? Secondly, I have plastic safety plugs, should I stick one into the unused plug hole? Is it a good idea, or is it even possibly dangerous in some way?

Thanks :)
