Power Book G3 is unresponsive, i don't think its the PRAM

Hi,
I have a powerbook G3 a family friend gave me, after they had not used it for several years. When I try to turn it on absolutely nothing thing happens. I reset the PRAM several times with no result. Is there any way to get it working again or should i just accept that its dead?

You could try resetting the PMU: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1431

Is it plugged in at the time or on battery?

I followed the instructions for resting the PMU and the computer is still unresponsive, do you think taking it into an apple store might help?

Not unless you want to spend money on something that may well turn out to be a hopeless cause.
