Power book hinges

What does anyone recomend to lubricate the hinges on me g-4 titanium so i dont have to replace them from breaking ??

I would check with your local Apple Store or reseller first. They are meant to be stiff. The tensions helps to hold the lid up. It seems that with wear and tear they can break, which my wife has done. She needs to send hers into Apple for repair.
