Power breaks down 2 weeks out of warranty

So my power cord decides to stop working 2 weeks after my warranty expires, they are very clever those Apple people, $100 for a new one!

Call AppleCare or go into a store (if you're near one) and talk to them. Apple is usually good about these kind of things. Two weeks out of warranty isn't that long and exceptions have been made.
