Hello, I have both 2010 MBP and 2017 MBP side by side. I noticed that the new power cable is not as smooth as the 2010's. It seems to be easier to get dirty and less easy to clean. Also, on the 2010, the magsafe has a LED which indicates if the laptop is fully charged or being charged. There is no such indicator on the MBP 2017. How can we tell the 2017's battery status without turning on the machine?

The old one is also more flexible. Bending it does not leave any mark. TC and people in the MBP design team must be out of their mind.
