I fully charged my 2011 MBP before putting it to sleep then unplugged it because that green light is very bright. When I woke up my MBP had 93% battery left. What could be consuming the. 7% while in sleep mode?

Did the same with my wife's MBA last night and it was still at 100% this morning.

RAM remains powered during sleep, and MBP's usually use roughly 1% of battery per hour of sleep, this is well documented and is answered in countless other threads.
