hey all

i'm on the old non-unibody white macbook from the start of 2008, dunno if that will make a difference but thought i'd mention it, any way...

does anyone know what the power consumption levels are like when the screen is off? say i leave it on or processing a file over night but with the screen off, i always thought the screen would be using a fairly sizeable amount of power but if you good people know better, im willing to listen ;)

season's greetings

I don't know for sure, but the screen will use a good amount of power. turning hte screen off will give you some extra time but probably not anything extremley significant.
