I have noticed a buzzing noise coming from the big white square in the middle of my power cord(I have the extension plugged into my power-cord so it might be the part that connects to the wall for you). If I put the square white box thing to my ear it makes a pretty noticeable buzzing noise and I just want to see if you guys hear the same thing in yours. I dont want to burn down my house because my power adapter is shorted out, lol. Thanks for your replies.

I'll bet it's either a 60 Hz or an 120 Hz buzz. From my experience: power adapters always make -some- noice. Nothing to worry about. Just don't blame me if your house unfortunately does burn down.
