I have a 1.5ghz 12 powerbook G4. When I plug in the power adapter with the battery, the screen alternates between dimming and returning to normal while the power bar flashes between the Lightning Bolt charging symbol and the power % icon. The battery will not charge unless I shut the computer down and leave it plugged in overnight. If I charge the battery and run it alone, the powerbook works fine until the battery drains. If I take the battery out of the computer and run from the power adapter, it works fine.

I ordered a brand new DC in off ebay and installed it. Same thing happened. So I ordered a new battery...same thing. I went to a Mac Store and talk to the Genus guys and they still thought it was the DC-in. I got my hands on another one and installed it....same result. Is this a Logic Board issue? I did upgrade the hard drive to a 320 Gb drive recently. Would this impact the powerbook? Any help is appreciated!!
