Do people here power off their IPT during the night when they aren't charging it, or do they just put it to sleep?

I'm wondering what is the best way to have it to preserve battery life over the long run or if there are any advantages of one over the other except for the obvious of a quicker start time if you just put it to sleep.

Thanks for the help.

I used to turn it off everytime I wasn't using it, then I started putting it to sleep... the battery is always the same when i turn it on from when i turned it off last. I'm guessing the major things that suck up the battery is the screen and wifi... and I believe the wifi turns off after a while if you put it to sleep then turns back on when you it wakes up
