I have a Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 and I'm wondering about the power drain of the wireless receiver on my new Air. How much juice is it pulling in order to power the USB peripheral?

Thanks.

The USB spec calls for a typical port to supply 500mA of current at 5 volts.

Ohm's Law tells us this will allow for a theoretical maximum of 2.5 watts.

The small radio in the receiver will not require full power. The USB section in System Profiler will tell you how much current it asks for.

Unfortunately I can't make much of this, but thanks.
