Yesterday, the power failed 3 times in a row. The second and third failures occurred while my modem/router and mesh pods were still recovering from the previous failure and the same for my HomePods and ATV4K. When the power finally came on and stayed on one of my OG HomePods was "Not responding" in the Home app and I couldn't restart it. It would respond to Hey Siri but only to say that it couldn't connect to the internet. Finally fixed it by unplugging it and plugging it back in. After that, I had to fuss with both pairs of HomePods to get them back on track as they seemed confused about what state they were in. Eventually they all stabilized. I have never had to unplug one of my HomePods before so I thought I'd pass this along in case others are hit with multiple power failures.

I had the same thing happen to me last week. I ended up plugging them back in, resetting them to default settings, configuring them like new, then adding them as a stereo pair all over again. At first it seemed like the right one was really quiet, but when I manually adjusted the volume for them on the Mac, they balanced out again. No idea what happened, but I bought a better surge protector as soon as I was done.
