This is really not a big deal nor is it truly obstrusive, but noticed that ever since I did a clean install of Mac OSX 10.3.4 (now up to 10.3.5 with Apple updates), my startup screen shows a very minute but noticeable "power glitch" when I boot.
I'm running an older iBook G3 600 mhz 384 ram and have several USB devices plugged in, including external speakers out of my headphone jack. While the grey apple screen is up during the booting process, the USB devices flicker once and the speakers provide a quick static noise during the flicker. When I operated under Jaguar (10.2.8), I didn't encounter this issue.
Is this normal? Is there something wrong? Am mildly concerned here.
Thanks.
