I haven't had to work on computers in quite awhile, actually since the era of this Mac probably, so I am not remembering things I probably should. I use my G4/867 as a iTunes and job file server and love the damn thing. I turned it on tonight to locate some files and all was fine, it came right up the way it always has. Then after about 5 min it shut down completely. When trying to restart it, the on/off glow-plug button lights for a moment but doesn't start the machine. Absolutely nothing happens, no sounds, no screen flicker, sad mac, etc. I realize it's an old machine that's served its purpose well but I would still like to keep it running if possible. Does anyone know what the probable cause could be? I love this old thing. Hope someone can help, thanks!

It does sound like power supply failure, it was quite common reason for MDD's to fail.
