Your mac was top of the line in 2002. Its now 2010. The slowdown you are experiencing with flash is because the CPU cannot keep up with the flash video.

Make sure you download the latest 10.1 version of flash. It has helped a lot with youtube video streaming on my G4.

right i tryed that but i go on a flash web page such as youtube and it says missing plug in?
so i download flash 10.1 again and it says im already running a higher version, any ideas?

YouTube and Vimeo offer HTML 5 betas, maybe have a go with that.

If you use Safari as browser, you can also take a look at ClickToFlash to disable Flash content.

It's because you have an older computer. Not much you can do about it.

Use the HTML5 beta on YouTube with Safari 5. Turn off hardware acceleration in Flash (ctrl-click on a Flash element, go to Settings, and disable hardware acceleration). About the most you can do.

Hmm, 3 things you could do. Overclock the cpu, get a better gpu, and/or get more ram.

what if i was just to upgrade to a better CPU
mine is 1GHz power pc G4
1mb L3 cache
would that help run video streaming
or does it have anything to do with the graphics card possibly?
