Hi, I was wondering if I could install an Airport card into my dual 2 Ghz Late 2005 Power Mac G5?

I believe you can install it into a 2003/4 Power Mac G5 but not into the 2005 ones. I think apple said that it had to be installed at an apple store and it is not DIY.

If someone with a Late 2005 Power Mac G5 could help me out that would be great!

Thanks!

You can install it yourself. But you'll have to find one of the Airport card sleds to hold an Airport Extreme card. They can be expensive.

Okay...

Where would I find a sled? Could you send me a link about it?

Thanks

If yours is a dual core 2.0 GHz late 2005 Powermac the link below is your airport card with airport runway card. Bluetooth is already integrated on that card.

It is easy to install, I know because I have done it myself on my 3 late 2005 Powermac G5.

Ok thanks, I understand what you mean, can I buy these from the UK EBay, because I live in the UK?

Thanks guys so much!
