Hi, I'm new to the forums. Just wondering if you can help me out. I just got a G5 power mac (dual 2.3GHz) and bought one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....1493&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4073wt_877as an airport substitute.

When trying to install the card it doesn't appear to fit in the PCI slot. Am I right in thinking it should fit? Since it's a PCI card and the G5 has PCI/PCI-X inputs?

any help is much appreciated.

If your Mac is Dual Processor, not Dual Core it must fit. I've checked in 2.3 Dual which is standing near me at this moment (i couldn't believe that might be any troubles with regular PCI card like linked) ;)

You got PCI Express G5, i.e. Dual Core not Dual Processor (w. AGP bus).
PCI card won't fit certainly ;)
I don't know any PCI Express wifi card supported by Mac OS. Best way will be USB WiFi dongle. Something like this or similar.
