Earlier this week i purchased a dual 2.0 ghz power mac g5 for $50. I bought it with no harddrive, i installed a new harddrive and tried installing os x. But when i hit the power button, i get the tone, then a quick grey screen flash (about 5 sec) then monitor goes into power save mode.
I've tried switching the ram to different slots as well as replacing them. No go
I've pressed the PMU reset on mobo. No go
Thought it wasnt picking up my keyboard, so purchased a mac keyboard. No go
If i hold the mouse down the tray will eject.
The fans dont go crazy, it runs perfectly normal.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thats weird, i switched my dvi cable with a dvi to vga adapter and now i get a grey screen with a flashing question mark
