I have a Power PC G5 with 10.5.2, dual 2 Ghz, 1 gig of ram.
it burns CDs very well.
it won't burn DVDs!
i've tried different media, verbatim, fuji, etc.
i keep getting an errow message:
i've tied burning with toast8 platinum and with the apple finder thing, but get the same message,
"burning the disc failed becuase communiction to the disc drive failed,
(error code 0x80020022)"
this happened before and after i stepped up to 10.5..
i've removed the drive and made sure all of the connections are tight, clean, and the drive is free of dust.
do i need a new internal burner?
if so any quality, low cost internal drives you can recommend?
