I have a power mac G5, just popped in an ATI Radeon X800 AGP card and it has a completely reformatted HD (no OS).
I have a 10.5 install disk, but can't get anything to show up on the screen to complete the install process.

Seems to be running fine, no red LEDs.

This is probably a dumb question: is the video card in question a Mac Edition, or has it at least been flashed with a Mac-compatible ROM? If not, that's your problem.

any other thoughts?

Hell, then it could be any one of a huge number of things. Bad monitor. Bad cables. Bad adapters. Bad video card. Bad port on a video card. Without seeing the machine physically, I can only speculate, unfortunately.
