Hello all,
I've got a Power Mac G3 which is giving me one hard time. I've put more memory (256MB) and a bigger hd (20gb) in it to get it somewhat up to par to install Jaguar. I get through the installation just fine, but when it restarts, I do not get an Apple logo with the spinwheel. Instead I get a grey screen with the following words continously appearing: can't OPEN. Those words constantly repeat and I cannot figure out what else to do. I've cleared the PRAM a few times, reinstalled X several times, moved memory around. I've also partitioned the drive so OS X is installed within the first 8gb. Any suggestion? Thanks!

I don't really know too much about the situation, but I have heard many times that beige g3 macs have a very difficult time operating OSX. Good luck and hopefully someone will post something useful ^_^
