Power Off?

I just purchased my Apple TV this week- does everyone out there leave their units on all the time? Since there is no way (that I can find) to power it off via the remote, I'm thinking Apple wants the unit left on all the time.

Yes, that's about right. Since the unit has no power button, it basically stays in standby. ...Keep in mind, this is pretty typical for such electronics (and even those that do have power switches are switched off, they're really in "standby").

Like an ipod... hold down the Play/Pause button for a few seconds to put it to sleep.
