Hi,

i have got a Macbook Air 2025 M4 connected to a Dockingstation with Thunderbolt. I would like to start the Macbook without opening the screen. Is this possible? Thanks a lot.

You cannot power up a MacBook with the lid closed, it needs the power button to be pressed or the lid to be opened. If, however, it is only sleeping, it can be woken with the lid closed, assuming you have an external display and keyboard attached, by tapping on the keyboard.

Hope this helps.

Okay thanks a lot. That was the information i already found on the internet.
