Power on the MacBook Pro 13 inch

If I bought the 2 USB port MacBook Pro 13 inch would the power adaptor plug into one of the ports? Are they magnetic so encase someone trips over the cable my MacBook wont go flying?

I have the same but from 2017.
Both ports work interchangeably for power.
But the charging mechanism is not magnetic.

so Apple went down??? My 2012 has a magnetic power adaptor so it won’t fly if someone trips over the cable.

Yeah, there has been some criticism about that choice. But IIRC there's a 4 ports edition. Or maybe it's the 15" one.

Yes, your computer would go flying if someone tripped over the USB-C cable. No More magnetic charging. Sorry. They switched to a standard (USB-C)
