MacBidouille deports a rumor that IBM is almost ready to produce the G5 at 0.06microns and that production could begin within the next 6-9 months. I do remember reading somewhere that this could have a significant impact on speed since it is somewhat correlated to the processor capacity to increase its MhZ, but I understand very little in this area. Could someone expand on the implications of moving to 0.06m manufacturing ?

thx
