I have an older 15" macbook pro from 3-4 years ago and I have been experiencing power problems with it. At first I thought it was just a bad battery, so I got the battery replaced yesterday. Charged the battery up last night and unplugged the power adaptor from it. I try to turn it on and there is no response. I keep trying to power it on by pressing the power button several times, but nothing happens. So i plug the power adaptor back in and then it starts right up....

So, i'm wondering if anyone else with older macbook pro's have experienced power problems like this and if you did how did you fix it? I also think there could be something wrong with the power switch?

Any thoughts?
