Power Supply for PowerMac G4

Are the power supplies for a g4 tower and g3 tower the same? the power supply on my g4 has gone bad and i have a g3 in storage. can i place the g3 power supply into the g4?

Depending on the G4 and the G3, but apart from the G3-blue and the G4-yikes! i believe none are compatible.....
