Loving my new rMBP so far.

At work I have my Magsafe 2 power supply on my desk sitting next to the computer (with extender cord running to surge protector below). I just accidentally touched the power supply -- WOW. Any contact more than a few seconds would probably result in a serious burn. Has anybody else experienced this? I guess I don't typically have it so close to me, but still very surprised at the temperature.

I noticed the same thing with each of the 2 different rMBPs I had; not sure what the deal is but definitely much hotter than any of the MBP power supplies I had every had up to that point.

It's quite normal.

I'm sure it'd be uncomfortable, but I doubt it'd cause a serious burn. If it's actually getting hot enough to burn you, then take it in. They'll exchange the A/C adapter at the store if something is wrong with it.
