Power supply replacement

Is there any other power supply besides Apple's ****** one? And before you guys go on a rant, this thing is shooting out sparks causing my internet to disconnect every 10-20 minutes.

It's melted the cord off at the base, and you have to place it a certain way to get it to charge up. So if anyone knows a different manufacturer that does the MagSafe power supply, let me know.

Call up Apple for a replacement.

Yes, even if you're not under warranty.

As said prior, call up Apple or goto an Apple Store. They definitely should be replacing it for free under warranty. Apple support should be pretty gracious about it, and they may even get you to make a report with someone higher up.

As for a 3rd party replacement, because the MagSafe adapter is patented, no one other than Apple currently sells an adapter.
