I love the Power Support anti-glare screen protectors. After trying many, they're the only ones I'll use. But I don't see any out yet for the iPad 2. Can you use the original iPad ones with the iPad 2? I'm wondering if it will really mess up the camera to have a screen protector over it? Unlike the front facing camera on the iPhone 4, the front facing camera on the iPad 2 is under the glass, so it's smooth over it. I'm just wondering if it will distort the picture too much to have a screen protector over it.

Just wondering the same thing. In fact, I just called Power Support to try to find out if they were going to put out a new film for the iPad 2. I would think they would since they put out a new film for the iPhone 4

Did they say? I just emailed them the same question. I would think there would be something new, but I can't find any mention of it on the website. And with the camera _under_ the glass, maybe they don't need to?

They didn't answer the phone. I left my number.

The iPad2 is the same as the iPhone4 and it has a cutout in the film, so I'm guessing at some point in time we will get a cutout but it may take some time. If I get a call back from them, I'll post what they said

Thanks - likewise I will post if I hear something.

I called them a week ago and the person I spoke with said the new ipad 2 screen protectors will be out in April.

According to the reviews, the iPads are not the same height or width - the bezel is smaller... so no, it wouldn't fit anyway.

I used the Speck antiglare on my iPad and it fits perfect... Just need to cut out a part intop for the front camera. Bezel is same size.

I wonder if anyone with the original iPad can check to see if it's the same. If it is I wouldn't mind getting the Power Support as it right now.

If the bezel is the same size just get the ipad 1 protector, mark where the camera is and go find a hole punch :)

I think I'm going to do just that... order an iPad 1 screen protector from Power Support and just make my own hole. Time to raid my wife's craft supplies to find something to make a perfect hole the right size.

I really think Power Support makes the best protective films but don't want to wait until May!

Even without the hole, should it cause much distortion since its a clear shield ? I just ordered my ipad 1 crystal screen for the ipad 2 , i think i can deal without the camera hole.

This is the response I got from PowerSupport when I asked about using the Power Support HD screen protector for the iPad 1 (same as anti-glare):

"There will be some distortion. Power support doesn't use black market specks; to ensure the best fit we use the actual product. We will have the films at the end of April, early May. Thank you for your support and patience."

LOL - "black market specks".

Thanks for checking in with them! At this point I'm more worried about the back of my device than the screen (thank you smartcover). However, I would love the extra security that PS provides.
