Power up system "remotely"

I love my new G5 DP 2.5 system...
I like how Apple has gotten away from their ADC connectors for their monitors..

BUT I MISS being able to power up my system from my monitor!!!

Is there a device or keyboard shortcut where I can turn on my tower remotely. I know it may sound like I'm lazy..."Oh he cant reach over an extra 3 feet to turn on his Mac!!!" but its just an old habbit that i dont want to break...

Any body know of a way have my cake and eat it too
