I was watching phonedog.com on YouTube and was wondering if reviewing phones on YouTube is the man's real job.

When you upload a video on YouTube, do you get paid from the Google Adsense revenue automatically?

Probably not automatically, phonedog.com is a real site. They probably make money from ads on that site. And I'm just guessing here, but maybe they get paid to review/advertise products. I know Noah just got an HD camera from Samsung so maybe Samsung is paying them for mentioning the camera at the beginning of every episode?

The site's not too different from engadget.com so they probably pay the reviewers the same way Engadget pays their bloggers.

You have to be a YouTube partner to get paid. Your amount of subscribers/views is how you get to be asked to be a partner. Whatthebuck makes $100,000 a year off of YouTube videos. The lucky bastard, however, has many subscribers. :p
