powerbook 12" uneven brightness

HI,

I know this topic has been listed before. But I just got that problem recently and sick of it.

My powerbook 12", got a brighter right hand buttom area than the rest. The left hand top corner is the darkest.

I read old posts of this uneven brightness or uneven illuminations on 15" pb. So far, I have seen some ibook in my company got the same problem.

My question is: is fixing uneven brightness is a mission impossible? or apple is just a cheap hardware supplier? I just bought this laptop 4 months ago. Still 2 yeas to go I think.

No, it's not a mission impossible. If it's bothersome, you should take it in and have Apple look at it. If you're at an Apple store and they give you guff about it, find another PowerBook in the store that doesn't have the problem and point it out. Mine certainly doesn't have any problem.
