Hello.

I have had a 17" powerbook now for a few months, and all in all, has been excellent. Im using Logic, ProTools, as well as the usuals, and it has been working fine, except recently.

Ive got a Linksys WAG54G with firmware 1.02.1, with MACOSX 10.3.7. Ive got a wireless Dell laptop that Ive had for ages, which works great, but my mac goes like a total dog on the wireless network... and I have no idea why. Im relatively new to macs, but some help with this would be greately appreciated.....

Its a purely G network, although the router is set to accept B connections.

Its whilst im using Firefox / Safari / Camino (symptoms exist on all). When I type in a URL, it will then just sit there for a while, whilst the progress wheel / bar / wheel thingy just rotates. Doesnt seem to be doing an awful lot, and then will bring up the structure of the page (with most text /frames present) but will then take ages for images (including small jpegs/gifs and swf's) to appear.

Thanks in advance..

Derek
