Gold Modem card... hahaha, awesome. That is a 14.4 kbps modem.

You're asking us advice on spending 10 quid? C'mon man.
Be warned that there is very little that that machine can do. It's an 040 processor with 33mhz, and RAM upgrades will be rare, and maybe expensive.

i'd just get it to see what it can do. A friend had a 190 b/w and it was a great and sturdy little machine.
