Hello, please help if you can

I own a Powerbook G3 (Wallstreet) and my old AC Adaptor died!

Is there a problem to use the AC adaptor from the G4's.

Thanks

The current adapters are 65W, while the Wallstreet uses only a 45W adapter. Moreover, the actual head is a different size between G3 and G4 Powerbooks. So, a new power adapter won't fit your Wallstreet, and even if it did, you'd overload the machine.

Using a 65W adapter on a 45W machine is fine, Apple only sell 65W adapters now and they are used all the time on iBooks that originally shipped with the 45W adapter.

You can buy a small adapter to go from the big to small plug, but I'm not sure exactly who makes them.

Madsonline sells the adaptor calle the generation gap, but it is for using older G3 AC adapters on newer Apple portables like the iBook.

Buy a new adapter.
