drive in powerbook all of a sudden getting error message (-2147352480)
when i insert a cd. the only thing i did recently was an update to 10.2.3 Could this be the problem? Any Help would be greatly appreciated
 
Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility>First Aid>Repair Disk Permissions.

thank you, i will try it, though why would repairing the hd fix the drive?

You're not repairing the hard drive you are repairing the file permissions. If the permissions are corrupted the system may not have permission to access a file necessary to operate your cd drive.
