Hi,

I have had a 1.33ghz 12 inch powerbook g4 with the 64mb nvidia 5200. And I am ready to hook my Powerbook up to an external display. What options do I have with the 12 inch powerbook?
Does it only offer display monitoring and can I close the Powerbook while its using the external display. If this can be done, if you could tell me how then I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks alot.

You should be able to power anything up to a 23" Cinema Display with that machine.

As soon as the PB/OS X detects a 2nd display attached, in screen preferences you will have the option for mirroring or dual.

It offers mirroring, extended desktop (switch with F7 on the keyboard)
You can also run in clamshell mode (powerbook closed, external screen on..)

After closing you need to press a key on your external keyboard and it will wake up ..
