My Powerbook has been having some battery problems for a while now, for example it only lasted on battery power for about an hour, and under heavy load maybe half an hour. It also hasn't told me what my actual charge was for a few months now, it'll either say 97% or 2%. Today, though, I unplugged the computer from the wall socket, and it immediately shut down and wouldn't start back up until it was plugged in. Even after leaving it charging for a few hours, the battery says it has no charge. I tried iBatt, and it tells me my computer has no battery.

So, is it time for a new battery, or could it be an issue with something like the PMU? If it is the battery, has anyone used NewerTech's Powerbook batteries? Are they any good compared to the regular Apple ones?

Oh yeah, and I have a Powerbook 15" Ti, at 667Mhz, like in the sig, just to clarify.
