powerbook bluetooth module not available

i have a 15" powerbook w/on board bluetooth and under the bluetooth tab in the menu bar, it says bluetooth not available, could can anyone direct me as to how to make it available?

Which model PB do you have? this was a common problem with early Rev A models.

You could try resetting the PRAM and PMU but your BT module may have died or detached from the logic board and will need to be taken in for service.

PMU Reset

Turn your mac off, wait, ctrl+alt+shift+power button all together, at least 5 seconds , then start your mac up and your date and time will change and the system will tell you that it was reseted ... Good luck!
